Instrumentation Redefined - An Introduction to NI Vector Signal Transceivers With the release of industry's first Vector Signal Transceiver, NI redefined instrumentation. This software-centric architecture represents a new era in which engineers and scientists can use LabVIEW to tailor open, field-programmable gate array (FPGA)-based hardware for their specific needs. During this session, explore the VST architecture and cutting edge application examples, and also learn how you can take advantage of the open FPGA on NI vector signal transceivers (VSTs) with NI-provided examples and application-specific IP. High-Performance Embedded Applications Using NI FlexRIO NI FlexRIO is one of the most powerful products based on the LabVIEW reconfigurable I/O (RIO) architecture. Learn how you can leverage this architecture to design, develop, and deploy high-performance embedded applications that require the online processing of signals with bandwidths measured in the hundreds of megahertz and beyond. Also discuss design strategies and explore tools to help you reach your time-to-market objectives.
Integrating .m, .mdl and Real-Time Hardware for Math, Signal Processing, & Control This session will show you how to use an integrated software and hardware platform for real-time textual math, signal processing and control. Learn how you can take the .m files you have developed and easily deploy your code to real-time hardware without extra codegeneration steps. You will be able to set up the .m files to run in parallel and also add custom user interfaces and decision making. Introduction to LabVIEW and Computer Based Measurements Write your first LabVIEW application, design a user interface, and learn fundamental LabVIEW concepts such as data flow, wiring,basic structures, creating user interfaces and simple debugging. Also test-drive a CompactDAQ data acquisition system and learn how to use graphical programming techniques to create modular and flexible measurement applications.
LabVIEW Data Management and Postprocessing Explore DIAdem and improve your postprocessing productivity by using data management techniques to quickly locate and load data from any file format. Also graph and visualize data without the limitations of software such as Microsoft Excel, perform interactive engineering analysis, export professional reports, and automate repetitive processing tasks.
Choosing the Right Data Acquisition System for Your Application* In today's world, engineers and scientists have countless options for building DAQ systems. Get tips for selecting the right sensors, DAQ hardware, bus, computer, and software for your next measurement application.
Build an Automated Test System with NI TestStand and the PXI Platform This hands-on session will provide an introduction to developing an automated test system using NIs test solution to increase test development productivity and reduce overall costs. Learn to perform a functional test on multiple units under test, using a ready-to-run test management software, NI TestStand, paired with a PC-based modular instrumentation platform.
